Tour Description:
Your journey begins with a panoramic tour of Dublin, a city rich in history and culture. As we drive through its charming streets, you’ll see many of Dublin’s most iconic landmarks, brought to life with engaging stories and historical insights. It’s the perfect introduction to the city, offering both a sense of its layout and inspiration for places you may wish to explore further on your own.
Next, we visit the renowned Jameson Distillery in Smithfield, where your group will embark on a 45+ minute fully guided experience. Led by an expert Ambassador, you’ll journey through Jameson’s rich history and heritage, learn about the famous “Grain to Glass” process, and enjoy a comparative tasting of three Jameson whiskeys. The tour begins with a Jameson signature serve in hand, and along the way, you’ll discover the stories, character, and craft that have made Jameson a world favorite. The experience concludes with time to savor your drink and browse the gift shop before we continue.
Our final stop is the charming village of Howth, located on the picturesque Howth Head peninsula. Once a thriving fishing village, Howth embodies the essence of traditional Irish charm. Here you’ll enjoy a local lunch before having free time to explore the village at your leisure. Don’t miss the chance to stroll the harbor or visit Howth Castle, a historic site dating back to 1180, before we return to Dublin.
